Sheila Gashumba is one of the local influencers that promote Nigerian music in Uganda.
The NBS Presenter often praises Nigerian artists on top of representing them in Uganda by distributing their music to Djs and booking shows.
To some extent, she has also contributed to the Ugandan music industry. She promotes local musicians that she believes in and appreciates their talent.
During her show on Galaxy FM, Sheila Gashumba hailed the radio station for being the biggest supporter of Ugandan music.
“Galaxy FM can’t survive without Ugandan music. They thrive on content by Ugandan musicians. They are the biggest supporters of Ugandan music but sometimes they bash these musicians online,” Sheila Gashumba said during her After 5 show.
Sheila Gashumba’s statement comes after Galaxy FM was attacked by Netizens after exposing musician Azawi, who gave out free tickets for her maiden concert at Lugogo Grounds on Friday.
