Not long ago, socialite Emmanuel Lwasa revealed that he was staging a wife search contest, and for many, this was interpreted as a joke.
It turned out he was serious as he organized the event at Calendar bar in Makindye a few weeks ago. Lwasa, however, didn’t enter the venue apparently due to the low turn-up of women.
In an interview, the socialite revealed that he appeared at the venue but ran away.
“I came in a tinted car and saw many journalists at the venue. I had to drive away because the media badly wanted my pictures,” he said.
On whether he will proceed with the plans of searching for a wife, Lwasa said he has taken a break.
