Band artiste Grace Khan went against her mother’s wish of becoming a traffic officer to join the music industry.

In an interview, Grace Khan revealed how she always had serious meetings with her mother over the issue of dropping music in favour of serving as an officer.
“My mom would tell me that officers get a lot of money, but that would not convince me. I hated listening to her conversations, even now I don’t like to think about it,” Grace Khan said.
She started to earn her footing in the music industry after participating in a talent search that was conducted by Geoffrey Lutaaya and Irene Namatovu. She impressed the couple in the contest and was recruited into the New Eagles production.
