Media personality Sheila Gashumba officially stopped working for Next Media Services on Monday this week.
Her face will no longer be appearing on NBS After 5 show which she has been co-hosting with Douglas Lwanga, MC Kats, DJ Roja, and DVJ Mercy since 5th November 2021.
Insiders say her troubles started with regular absenteeism from her work duties. She made it a habit not to show up for work without notice on top of signing a contract with another station.
It also alleged her unwillingness and inability to work with different people from other departments also prompted her dismissal
"Sheilah is someone who believes she knows it all, and she never took her work seriously. She would show up only a few minutes to her show and in most cases, she would go days off without informing her superiors," a trusted source told this website.
Gashumba hopes to make her dream career on the radio after signing a juicy deal with NRG radio. She couldn't work on two different competing media outlets.
