Musician turned politician Hillary Kiyaga a.k.a Dr. Hilderman has expressed disappointment with the members of Uganda National Musicians Federation(UNMF) headed by Eddy Kenzo.
Speaking at an event on Thursday this week, Hilderman revealed he was sidelined by musicians mostly those in the UNMF when he was championing the copyright law in the parliament.
He said most of them ignored his calls yet he was working tirelessly to table the copyright law but they never shared their views about it.
"I admire the unity of Boda bodas, when they hear anything against their job they come together and fight for their rights but musicians are selfish. I was ignored by all the federations and particularly by musicians at the time I was working to table the copyright law," furious Hilderman explained.
Hilderman said as the shadow minister of Culture and Arts, the UNMF should seek his guidance on how they can achieve the copyright fight they are on.
