Following a meeting with President Museveni aka Sevo, it was reported that the UNMF received a donation of twenty billion Ugandan shillings through its boss, Eddy Kenzo.

The allegations have sparked wild conversations among music circles, with the most prominent one being the Uganda Musicians Association.

Cindy, who happens to be the President of UMA, has threatened to protest over the funding. She believes it's unfair to inject all that money into one group, leaving others with nothing.

"We are trying to reach out peacefully to the leadership. But if it fails, we shall find another way which is not peaceful for this to happen. It's very unfair to release all that money for just a particular group, leaving out all other musicians," she partly said in an interview with a local YouTuber.

Eddy Kenzo, however, maintains he didn't receive any money from Sevo. He was in State House to discuss matters of copyright law.
