The Member of Parliament representing Masaka Municipality, Juliet Kakande, has made a shocking revelation, claiming Barbie Kyagulanyi is the most powerful among the leaders of the National Unity Platform (NUP).
In an interview with Sanyuka Television, Juliet Kakande explained that Barbie is even more powerful than the party President, Robert Kyagulanyi, also known as Bobi Wine.
She says it is Barbie who makes most of the party decisions and Bobi Wine merely makes official statements as the President.
Kakande insists Barbie Kyagulanyi is the reason some people, including herself and Mathias Mpuuga, among others, have been sidelined or removed from NUP.
"Some people don't know that Barbie Kyagulanyi is active in politics. They think she is just married to Bobi Wine, but that is not the case. She is a decision-maker, and hers is always final. She is even more powerful than Bobi Wine, the President," Kakande partly explained.
Juliet Kakande is one of the "rebel" NUP MPs who were last week given an ultimatum to apologize to Bobi Wine or leave the party.
