
Musician Spice Diana is a darling of the National Unity Platform and enjoys a good relationship with the party leader, Bobi Wine.
She is one person who has consistently supported the red brigade since its inception in 2018 when it launched as the People Power movement.
Over time, she has endorsed, campaigned, and performed for NUP politicians and those who subscribe to the opposition.
As the country gears up for general elections next year, Spice Diana has advised artists to choose sides if they are to perform at political rallies and events.
The singer explained performing at a political rally is no longer just a performance but also an endorsement, which can have an effect on one's fanbase.
"It used to be common for musicians to perform at political rallies as neutral ground, but now that’s impossible; fans no longer see it that way. You have to pick a side," she explained.
The regular hitmaker also says it's good to stay away from performing at political rallies if one has no political side.
"So it’s better to stay away from it if you want to remain neutral," she added.
