Media personality and now politician, Flavia Namulidwa, has opened up on why she quit Bukedde Television.
Namulidwa, who hosted "Oluyimba lwo" on Bukedde Television every afternoon, Monday to Friday, revealed she quit after being stopped from playing Bobi Wine's music.
Namulidwa explained she defied the orders, which angered her bosses.
She then publicly endorsed Bobi Wine, something that was against company policies. She was asked to call for a press conference and apologize publicly, but she refused.
She chose to go and pursue life in the United States of America because she had already secured her visa.
"I was stopped from playing Bobi Wine's songs but I insisted because I am his fan. It angered my bosses, and I also endorsed him publicly. Meetings were held, and they asked me to call a press conference and denounce him and also to apologize. I refused because my visa was already out," she explained.
Namulidwa says she doesn't regret quitting Bukedde Television.
She is currently pursuing politics and has already confirmed her candidature for Gomba East.
