Musician Mansur Semanda, popularly known as King Saha, has recently transformed into an activist and political commentator, frequently speaking on various political issues in Uganda.
He is a strong supporter of Robert Kyagulanyi, also known as Bobi Wine, and a favorite within the National Unity Platform (NUP) due to his consistent criticism of the Ugandan government.
Despite calls from various individuals urging him to contest for an electoral position in the upcoming 2026 general elections, King Saha remains firm in his decision not to pursue such a path.
The singer states he is not interested in contesting for positions; instead, he is focused on bringing about change in government through the National Unity Platform under Bobi Wine's leadership.
King Saha clarified that his current focus is on promoting and campaigning for Bobi Wine in 2026, and he is not interested in any personal electoral position at this time.
"I want to bring change to the country, and we shall achieve it," he explained. "I work towards that every day with my President, and that's what I am focused on. I will promote and campaign for Bobi Wine because I know he is capable of bringing the change we badly need. I don't have time to start fighting for positions when there's a bigger thing I'm pushing."
King Saha believes Bobi Wine will be in leadership of the country a few months from now.
