Shyroota, the ex-girlfriend of musician Vyroota, was arrested by authorities on Monday of this week and remains in custody.
She is reportedly facing charges of cyber harassment and computer misuse.
Local reports indicate that upcoming musician Lucky Jo prompted the arrest following abusive messages sent by Shyroota earlier this month.
Lucky Jo reportedly filed a police report in June of this year after Shyroota directed abusive remarks toward her mother, relatives, and specifically the Itesots.
"Teso ladies, I am smarter than you all. You cannot handle him as I am planning. Lucky Jo is the love of my life at the moment. You all should move on and focus on your other lives. Enjoy your atampa in peace because you Itesots are not on my level," she stated at the time.
Various social media users have appealed to law enforcement to release Shyroota, with many asserting she was merely creating content for TikTok.
Shyroota gained prominence last year after publicly claiming she engaged in unprotected sexual activity with Vyroota and that the popular R&B singer compelled her to have an abortion.
