Singer Nandor Love has opened up about how she is coping with the recent loss of her father, who was laid to rest earlier this month in Bombo along the Gulu Highway.

The dancehall star, who has since returned to performing, revealed that music has become her therapy, helping her deal with the pain and trauma of losing a parent.

“I felt much pain. I chose to cut off my dreadlocks so I could heal from the pain of losing my father. I’m trying to perform so that I can forget the pain — I’m doing everything possible to heal,” she said.

Nandor Love explained that cutting off her dreadlocks symbolized a fresh start and a new chapter in her life — one she must now navigate without her father’s presence.

Despite the heartbreak, the singer expressed gratitude to her fellow artists, friends, and fans who supported her during the difficult period.

“I’m really thankful for the love and support I received. It meant a lot to me,” she added.

Nandor Love continues to perform across the country, saying that music remains her biggest source of comfort and strength in this painful time.
