Rapper Nellysade has ignited a heated online storm after launching a brutal attack on media personality Mc Kats, accusing him of using his health status as leverage to seek financial help.
In a candid post on his X (formerly Twitter) account, Nellysade told Mc Kats to stop fronting his illness for sympathy and instead focus on working like many others battling the same condition.
“Every time you are jazzing us about AIDS. You are not the first person to get affected by the deadly disease. People are battling the disease but they are always at work. Go and work. Stop begging as you front AIDS,” Nellysade wrote.
The rapper insisted that thousands of people living with HIV continue to hustle daily without making their health struggles a public fundraising campaign.
As expected, the comments didn’t sit well with Mc Kats, who quickly fired back, claiming he doesn’t even know Nellysade — a response that only fueled more debate on social media.
