Popular music group B2C Entertainment has responded strongly to criticism surrounding government support given to musicians.

The trio pushed back against claims that such funds should instead be directed toward essential services like healthcare and infrastructure, saying artists are being unfairly targeted.

“If others are benefiting, why shouldn’t artists also benefit?” they questioned.

“Artists Are Being Singled Out”

B2C argued that corruption and public spending concerns exist across many sectors, yet musicians are the ones facing the most backlash.

They emphasized that artists should not be expected to suffer or sacrifice their livelihoods just to appear morally upright.

Musicians shouldn’t have to “sleep hungry” while others benefit, they noted.

“It’s Just Pennies”

The group also downplayed the scale of the funds given to artists, describing it as minimal compared to overall government expenditure.

They pointed out that the money allocated to creatives is small—especially when compared to larger government budgets like those of State House.

Call to Shift Focus

According to B2C, the public outrage is misplaced and distracts from more significant financial issues in the country.

They urged critics to redirect their attention to bigger concerns rather than putting pressure on musicians.
