Feffe Bussi Says Kapeke Nearly Quit Music Before His Breakthrough

Rapper Fefe Bussi has opened up about the struggles musician Kapeke faced before rising to fame, revealing that the singer was once close to giving up on his music career.

Speaking during an interview on Galaxy TV, Fefe Bussi recalled Kapeke’s determination in the early days as he worked hard to get noticed in the industry.

He shared humorous memories of how Kapeke would frequently show up at his home without notice while trying to seek support and guidance.

“He used to come to my place unannounced, eat my food, and even come to watch Arsenal games with his friends. Sometimes I would chase some of them away,” Fefe Bussi said.

According to the rapper, Kapeke was going through a difficult period at the time and had almost lost hope in pursuing music.

Fefe Bussi said seeing Kapeke’s current success reminds him of how far the young artiste has come and makes him appreciate the journey.

“When I see him now, I realize God is great. He was almost giving up, but now he has become one of the notable young artistes,” he added.

Kapeke has recently enjoyed growing popularity in Uganda’s music scene, with several songs gaining strong attention across the country.
