Ugandan singer Pretty Banks has issued a warning to upcoming musicians, cautioning them about what she describes as the dark spiritual side of the music industry, which she claims is filled with witchcraft and jealousy.

Speaking candidly, the singer revealed that 2025 was the most difficult year of her life, saying it exposed her to realities she had only heard whispers about from other artists.

Pretty Banks disclosed that she believes she was personally targeted by a spiritual attack, an experience she says left her shaken and deeply concerned.

“The music industry is full of witchcraft; distance yourself from musicians,” she revealed.

She went on to share what she described as a disturbing personal experience that strengthened her fears about the industry.

“2025 was my worst year. I experienced things I had only ever heard about in the music industry. Someone bewitched me, and I woke up one morning and found scars on my back,” she explained.

Her remarks have since sparked conversation among fans and fellow artists, with many debating the pressures, jealousy, and beliefs surrounding Uganda’s competitive music industry.
