Singer Yung Mulo has opened up about the health scare that left him hospitalized shortly after his traditional kukyala ceremony.

The singer has dismissed rumors linking his condition to financial stress, clarifying that it was severe exhaustion that caused his collapse.

According to Yung Mulo, weeks of nonstop activity, including music tours, ceremony preparations, and family obligations, drained his energy.

“I wasn’t sleeping enough during the period leading up to the ceremony. I was constantly on tour, handling preparations and other commitments,” he explained.

Pushed His Body Too Far

The singer revealed that after all the pressure, he still went to the gym and pushed himself even harder, something he now believes worsened the situation.

“My body became fatigued, and then I went to the gym and pushed myself even harder. The exhaustion, combined with the intense workouts, eventually caught up with me,” he said.

Doctors reportedly ruled out illnesses such as malaria and concluded his condition was caused by severe fatigue.

Dismisses Debt Rumors

Yung Mulo also laughed off claims that he was battling debts from his kukyala ceremony.

“I know Ugandans love drama more than the truth. After I shared the video from the hospital, people immediately claimed I was stressed because of loans. But the truth is, I don’t owe anyone.”

The singer says he is now recovering well and looking forward to getting back to music once he fully regains his strength.
