Musician Pallaso has shared his views on the growing debate surrounding DNA testing, saying he believes every child has the right to know their biological identity.
Speaking on the issue, the singer made his position clear, emphasizing the importance of truth when it comes to paternity and family identity.
"I believe in DNA. Children have a right to know where they belong," Pallaso said.
His comments come amid increased public discussion about DNA testing in Uganda, following several high-profile paternity disputes, including the recent case involving the late music legend Paul Kafeero. Government DNA tests confirmed that only four of the 25 claimants were his biological children.
Pallaso's remarks echo the views of many Ugandans who believe children should have access to the truth about their biological parents, regardless of the challenges such revelations may present to families.
The singer's comments have since sparked debate online, with supporters arguing that DNA testing promotes honesty and accountability, while others continue to discuss its social and emotional implications.
