Bebe Cool, I’m Not Well, Give Me Some Money — Eighton Sente

Former Gagamel International singer Eighton Sente has made a public appeal to his former boss Bebe Cool for financial assistance, revealing that he is currently struggling.

Eighton said he recently saw Bebe Cool enjoying what appeared to be a lavish lifestyle on social media and jokingly asked the Gagamel boss to come to his rescue.

“I just saw him on social media, he is living his best life. Please tell the Gagamel Boss to give me some money; he still has my number. I’m not well,” he said.

Eighton and Rain previously worked under Bebe Cool's Gagamel International before eventually walking away to pursue independent careers.

Their departure followed disagreements over their earnings, including a reported Shs500,000 payment for a New Year's performance.

However, Eighton says his relationship with Rain also eventually reached a point where the two could no longer continue working together.

Eighton Rules Out Rain Reunion

The musician confirmed that he and Rain have gone their separate ways and have no plans of reuniting as a musical duo.

According to Eighton, growing older brought different interests and priorities, making it increasingly difficult to maintain the partnership.

“I was with Rain when we were still younger. Right now, we are big men and a lot has changed. We got to a point and separated but nothing much happened,” he explained.

Eighton argued that musical duos are easier to maintain when artistes are younger because they tend to share similar goals and interests.

“Duo is possible when you are still younger but when you grow up, you split,” he added.

He pointed to Nigerian twin brothers Peter and Paul Okoye, formerly of P-Square, as an example of how difficult it can be for even closely related artistes to maintain a partnership.

“If P-Square, the twins that came from the same womb cannot work together, how about us?” Eighton asked.

He explained that being part of a duo requires two people to operate almost as one, something that becomes increasingly difficult as individuals develop their own ambitions.

“When you make a duo, you become one person which is not easy because everyone has their own interests,” he said.

For now, Eighton appears focused on his individual career—and perhaps hoping his former boss will see his SOS and send a little help his way.
