Musician Lil Pazzo has poured cold water on claims that King Saha has taken over Uganda's music industry, insisting that the country's biggest music throne still belongs to Eddy Kenzo, Bebe Cool and Jose Chameleone.

Pazzo acknowledged King Saha's impressive turnout at Kololo Ceremonial Grounds, but argued that a successful concert alone is not enough to place him alongside Uganda's established music heavyweights.

According to the rapper, King Saha still has a long way to go before he can be mentioned in the same breath as the three veteran artistes.

“In Uganda the industry remains in hands of Kenzo, Chameleone and Bebe Cool. King Saha is not up there. He tries but can't reach those three. His concert was successful because of politics,” he said.

Pazzo Credits Politics for Kololo Success

While King Saha's recent concert has been widely praised as a major milestone, Pazzo believes the event's success cannot be used as proof that the singer has overtaken the industry's established names.

His comments are likely to fuel an already heated debate among Ugandan music fans over who currently sits at the top of the country's music hierarchy.

King Saha has enjoyed a major surge in popularity in recent years, with his latest concert further strengthening his position among Uganda's leading contemporary artistes.
