PLU strongman David Kabanda has expressed his admiration for musician King Saha, revealing that the singer remains one of his favourite artistes despite their political differences.
Speaking in an interview with a local television station, Kabanda acknowledged that he and Saha have disagreed in the past but said he does not allow political differences to affect his appreciation of the singer's music.
“King Saha is my favourite musician. I don't take things personal, I like his music, mostly the song Akamwanyi,” he partly said.
Kabanda's comments come despite Saha's well-known criticism of the ruling establishment and his perceived closeness to the opposition National Unity Platform (NUP).
Kabanda Wants Saha to Appreciate Coffee
While praising Saha's musical talent, Kabanda also urged the singer to appreciate Uganda's coffee industry, noting that coffee growing has expanded significantly in recent years.
He suggested that Saha should recognise the growing contribution of coffee to Uganda's economy and the opportunities it presents to farmers.
