Media personality and businesswoman Prima Kadarshi is set to add DJing to her growing list of skills and ventures after revealing that she will begin DJing classes this week.
Prima said she will spend five weeks learning the art of DJing at Acacia Mall as she explores another area of the entertainment industry.
The media personality also hopes the new skill will translate into actual bookings, expressing her desire to perform at different events and establish herself among Uganda’s growing number of female DJs.
Prima has ventured into several fields over the years, building a career as a media personality, brand influencer and businesswoman.
She is also the founder of Lusaniya, her food business, and has previously ventured into corporate boxing.
Her latest move could see her join a growing list of Ugandan female celebrities who have taken up DJing, including Sheilah Gashumba, Etania Mutoni, Zahara Totto and Lynda Ddane.
For Prima, the five-week training marks another step in expanding her career beyond her established work in media, business and entertainment.
