Musician Cindy Sanyu has been nominated to run as the President of the Uganda Musicians Association (UMA).
Talking to the press, Cindy said she was returning to complete unfinished business.
“We still have a lot to do. There are many projects that we have been working on, like copyright law and more. I need some more time to finish,” she said.
On claims that she is a dictator and unapproachable, she said, “Last year, there were many fights in the industry, I decided to take a step back. That’s why some people said they could not approach me.”
“This year is for reconciliation. I am going to reach out to different people to mend fences,” she added.
Cindy will compete with King Saha for the top job.
