Ray G is arguably the biggest artist based in Western Uganda.
After staging several concerts in Mbarara, the singer also had a successful event at Imperial Royale in Kampala on Saturday.
Spice Diana who performed at his show credited Ray G for changing the narrative about musicians from Western Uganda.
"Thank you for changing the story of music in western Uganda. People now respect you. You have given hope to young artists, they now believe they have a chance to make it," she said.
Ray G previously criticized event organizers from Kampala for disrespecting western Uganda-based artists when they stage concerts in their homes areas.
