Sheebah Karungi is one of the best female artistes in Uganda, but at some point in her career, few had faith in her.

During a television interview, Sheebah revealed that the girls in Obsessions, the group where she started undermined her talent.
“I joined Obsessions at age 17. My life in Obsessions was tricky since I was just a former Karaoke performer. Most of the girls in the group saw me unfit to be among them. I wasn’t a priority and used to earn less or nothing at all,” she said
Sheebah has been at the top of her game for close to 10 years. Her breakthrough happened when she sang Ice Cream. She has not looked back since.
