In the ongoing discussions surrounding copyright issues in Uganda's arts industry, musician Eddy Kenzo expressed his belief that the opposition should not be involved.

During an interview with Sanyuka Television, Kenzo made an appeal to the opposition, asking them to refrain from interfering and instead allow the musicians to engage in dialogue with the government.

"I kindly request Hon. Hilderman to relay my message to the opposition leaders that we are seeking support from the current government in power. Therefore, I urge the opposition members to step aside," Kenzo stated.

Kenzo firmly believes that it is the responsibility of the government to enact policies, and he is optimistic that positive outcomes can be achieved through fruitful discussions with them.
