Swangz Avenue musician Azawi has expressed dissatisfaction with the Deputy Speaker's suggestion of sponsoring a music battle between Chameleon and Bebe Cool.
She urged him to make more significant investments in the music industry, such as starting a record label, as this would have a more positive impact on the industry.
"I believe politicians should invest in the industry. For instance, Mr. Tayebwa, with the money he intends to put into the battle, could achieve more by establishing a record label and signing talented individuals. This would likely yield better returns," she stated.
Azawi pointed out that this approach is commonly seen among politicians in Nigeria, where many support the music industry by backing record labels like Don Jazzy's Marvin Records.
