Musician Eddy Kenzo expressed his belief that music battles were hindering the growth of the Ugandan music industry.
In an interview with a local YouTuber, Kenzo shared his perspective, stating that music battles led to division among musicians and their fanbases.
"Personally, I don't believe in music battles because they do nothing for the growth of the industry. They only bring about division, and I don't support unhealthy competition," he said.
However, Kenzo clarified that while he wouldn't personally engage in a music battle, he allowed musicians under his federation to make their own decisions regarding participation in such battles.
