Musician Eddy Kenzo is the most successful Ugandan musician to date. He has won almost all awards, including the BET, and has also secured a nomination in one of the most prestigious awards, the Grammys.
With all that success, Eddy Kenzo believes he deserves to be awarded a doctorate in Arts and music.
The big talent star explained that he has created stars and contributed to the growth of the Ugandan music industry worldwide.
"I deserve to be awarded a doctorate in music because what haven't I done? I have made stars who fill up stadiums, and I have achieved even more than someone who is educated. I am supposed to be appreciated more by the Ministry of Education," he partly said in an interview with a local television.
Eddy Kenzo believes that academic success should be measured by practical skills rather than theoretical excellence.
