Events promoter Abbey Musinguzi, aka Abitex, has revealed he is planning to stage Bobi Wine's concert this year at the refurbished Nakivubo Stadium.
Abitex explained that Bobi Wine is the only musician who can bring masses, and single-handedly he can fill up the stadium to the maximum.
He says negotiations will be taking place in the near future between him and Bobi Wine's team to see this through.
He is willing to also talk to the security heads so they can allow him to go ahead with the concert.
"I want to stage Bobi Wine at this venue. He can pull the crowds, and I am thinking on Boxing Day or the 31st of December this year. I will speak to the security heads for a way out," he said while appearing on NBS After 5 on Tuesday evening, which was hosted from Nakivubo Stadium.
Nakivubo Stadium will be officially opened to the public on June 1st this year.
