Musicians T Paul and Sheebah Karungi will be staging their concerts this month on the 22nd. T Paul's concert will be taking place at Lugogo Cricket Oval, and Sheebah's event will be at Serena Hotel in Kampala.
Speaking about the clash of concerts on the same date, T Paul says he is not scared because he chose the date first. He is assured of success.
He explained there is pressure on his side but he is hoping for the best because the two artists have different target audiences, and it's an open market for everyone to enjoy.
"I announced first. We had already picked the date, and the information was making rounds. But of course, when she announced, there was some tension. But it's a free and open market. The pressure is there, but our audiences are totally different," he explained in an interview with a local television station.
T Paul is one of the fastest-rising musicians in Western Uganda and the country as a whole. He is popular among urban youths and high school students.
Sheebah, on the other hand, has been dominating the industry for over ten years. Her influence continues to grow even today.
