Azawi Dreams Big After Renewing Contract with Swangz Avenue

Musician Priscilla Zawedde, popularly known as Azawi, has successfully renewed her contract with the major label, Swangz Avenue, promising bigger things ahead as she targets the international market.

Azawi, who first joined Swangz Avenue in 2019, has quickly grown into one of the biggest Ugandan artistes and established herself as a major force to be reckoned with in the industry and across Africa.

Focusing on Global Impact

Since her debut, Azawi has maintained a consistent output, releasing her debut Lofit Extended Play (EP) in 2020, followed by the African Music Album in 2021, the Sakofa album in 2023, and her Lost Files EP released this year. Her influence and growth continue to dominate as she focuses on breaking barriers to the global stage.

The singer expressed her determination to deliver even better music to her fans, crediting the support from her label.

“Swangz Avenue has been home since the beginning. This new contract is a reminder that we still have a lot to create, refine, and share with the world. I am stepping into a new version of myself musically, creatively, and personally, and I’m grateful to have a team that believes in my vision,” she explained.
