After spending months in rehabilitation battling drug abuse and addiction, singer Fille is finally back on her feet — but the road to recovery hasn’t been smooth.

Opening up about her struggles since leaving rehab, Fille revealed that the Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF) declined to support her return to music through studio recordings and video production — a move she admits left her disappointed and confused.

According to Fille, UNMF instead proposed sponsoring a concert, a suggestion she believes is unrealistic given her long absence from recording.

“I asked them to sponsor my studio work or even a video, but they were not willing. Instead, they suggested sponsoring a concert. That’s the only thing that disturbed me. Why would you want someone who hasn’t recorded in over a year to stage a concert? What am I going to perform for people?” Fille questioned.

Despite the setback, Fille expressed deep gratitude to MC Kats, crediting him for standing by her throughout her rehabilitation journey and beyond.

She says MC Kats continues to give her full support as she works to rebuild her career — one song, one step, one day at a time.
