Songwriter and singer Sama Sojah has expressed concerns about musicians taking full control of the music industry without professional support.

He explained that while artists are talented in creating music, managing and running the industry requires expertise beyond performance.

According to Sama Sojah, the industry needs to be structured and guided by professionals who understand policy, management, and legal frameworks.

“My intention is not to fight anyone. I’m simply sharing my honest opinion on how the industry can be handled better. Making music does not automatically make someone an expert in policy implementation. The industry also needs professionals who understand structure and the law,” he explained.

Sama Sojah added that while leaders like Eddy Kenzo and others are skilled musicians, leadership and policy implementation require a different level of expertise.
