Joshua Baraka Says He’s Now Operating Independently

Musician Joshua Baraka has clarified that he is currently not signed to any music label and is running his music career independently.

The singer was responding to rumors claiming he had joined a Nigerian record label, which he dismissed as false.

Baraka explained that he recently parted ways with his previous management after working together for five years, noting that the decision was part of his growth as an artist.

“This is misinformation. I’m not signed to any new management. I’m fully independent now and just building a team around me as I’m trying to do my own thing. I’ve been with my brothers for five years, so it only makes sense that I step out and grow,” he said.

While addressing the rumors, Joshua Baraka neither confirmed nor denied reports linking him to music executive Jeff Kiwa as his new booking manager.

The artist says he is now focused on building his brand and expanding his career on his own terms.
