Musician Kalifah Aganaga has opened up about his decision to revive his hit song "Nassanga" by releasing a remix featuring several of Uganda's top artistes.
The remix brings together Eddy Kenzo, Winnie Nwagi, Weasel, and Lil Pazo, with Aganaga saying he wanted to give the song a fresh sound and introduce it to a new audience.
According to the singer, he personally reached out to each of the featured artistes and invited them to be part of the project, and they all embraced the idea.
"I reached out to them personally because I wanted to bring the song back to life with a fresh sound, and it's doing well," he partly explained.
Aganaga also credited TikTok users for helping revive the original version of "Nassanga," saying the platform gave the song a new lease on life and introduced it to a younger audience.
"People brought back 'Nassanga' to appreciate my music. The musicians featured on the remix are all my friends. They believed in my idea, and together we turned it into a hit," he added.
