Prima Kadarshi has criticized the organization of Ugandan concerts, arguing that many local artists have become too predictable in the way they stage their live shows.
Speaking during a recent TikTok Live session, Prima said many concerts feature the same performance routines, stage setups and concepts, giving fans little incentive to keep buying tickets.
"They are my friends, so if I can't tell them, who will? It seems people fear telling them the truth. Your concerts are boring. We can't see the same basic things every time," she said.
Prima said her comments were intended as constructive criticism, urging artists to become more creative in how they package and present their concerts.
She also revealed that she has stopped attending Ugandan music events because she no longer finds them entertaining.
"I woke up one day and decided I won't go back to Ugandan events. I don't have FOMO because I can't be paying my money for rubbish," she added.
Her remarks come amid growing discussion within Uganda's entertainment industry about the need for more innovative concert experiences as artists compete to attract audiences.
