Veteran musician Kid Fox has offered to collaborate with Dr Jose Chameleone, saying he believes the legendary singer could benefit from a fresh musical partnership.
Speaking in an interview with a local television station, Kid Fox claimed Chameleone is going through a difficult phase in his music career and offered to help him regain momentum through a collaboration.
“I can give Chameleone a collaboration to revive his career. He is struggling musically, and I can help him come back to the top. He should come through. I helped him in the beginning and am willing to do so as well,” he said.
Kid Fox presented the offer as a continuation of the support he says he previously gave Chameleone earlier in his career.
The veteran musician, who spent nearly 15 years living in Japan before returning to Uganda’s music scene, has continued to position himself as an experienced figure willing to mentor and support younger artistes.
It remains to be seen whether Chameleone will take up Kid Fox’s offer and the two musicians will eventually work together.
