Incumbent Erias Lukwago is the favorite to win the race but Jose Chameleone believes that his music will give the masses a reason to vote for him.

According to the Livewire presenter, most musicians used politics as Plan B after anticipating that their careers were nearing the end.

Chameleone said they are currently practicing for the historical show.

Kenyan singing group Sauti Sol which was nominated in three categories managed to record a song with Uganda’s Spice Diana. 

Last year, Pallaso managed to drop some of the tops hits in the country. With songs like "Malamu", "Ani Oyo", he managed to win the hearts of many music lovers.

He accused his boss of concentrating on Pallaso, neglecting his career.

The song was released last week and the video is already in the works. 

The good news is that the two reunited and they are on talking terms again.

Weasel's singing partner Radio died leaving a big vacuum in his life.

Word is, however, doing the rounds that the family of late Mowzey Radio is not happy with Pallaso.

He said they are now bigger than both Bebe Cool and Bobi Wine musically.

Under the management, he has released several hit songs like “Ekiro munzikiza”, “Wikid”, " What's money" and  “Malamu” among others.
