Confine Your Dogs Or They Will Killed — KCCA Warns.

The Kampala City Council (KCCA) has urged all Dog Owners in the city to confine their dogs, for safety reasons.

Through their Twitter page, KCCA announced that they will be putting down all stray dogs in Kampala. The dogs are apparently a danger to people as they bite them or dig through garbage.

Dogs can carry rabies, which is very hazardous to humans.  Treatment and vaccines exist for rabies but not too many people pay attention to vaccinating their canine best friends.  Few of the bitten ones can afford medical care to receive immediate attention once bitten.
