The Speaker of parliament Rt. Hon Rebecca Kadaga has launched a Parliament week from 5th to 10th February 2017.
During the week, Parliament will hold a walk to raise funds to build a rehabilitation centre for Albinos, and the house will be open to the public for the whole week.
Albinos told the speaker at a press conference this afternoon that stigma to people with albinism is too much and much of it caused by ignorance.
"We want to show the world that we are able, we want to have farming lands, hold jobs in offices because we are able and we want to show the world that we have strengths".
The Speaker said it is essential that parliament makes a law that will protect the albinos.
