Security agencies have arrested a suspect in connection with the murder of 18-year-old Bukenya Martin, it has emerged.
The suspect, identified as Musasizi Herbert, 41, was apprehended in Gulu District following the incident that occurred on 14th February 2026 at around 8:00 PM in Mabanda Cell, Gombe Division, Wakiso District.
The deceased was a student at Hillside Secondary School Matugga and a resident of Kirinyabigo, Kawanda in Nabweru Division, Wakiso District.
According to reports, the teenager was allegedly beaten to death after he was found in the suspect’s house with the suspect’s 14-year-old daughter. The incident reportedly happened at the suspect’s residence in Mabanda Cell, Gombe Division, Nansana Municipality.
The suspect is currently in custody as investigations into the matter continue.
