AIGP Andrew Felix Kaweesi, who has been Police Operations boss, has been replaced by Kampala Metropolitan Police boss,CP Haruna Isabirye, as the acting Director of Operations, Howwe.biz can exclusively reveal.
Sources inside Police headquarters have informed us that the shakeup comes after recent un tamed murders that have rocked the nation in the past few months.
Meanwhile, the Inspector General of Police made other appointments and transfers of gazetted officers in line with the organizational requirements. This has seen Andrew Kaweesi head to Human Resource directorate as a new boss and CP Namanya Benjamin fill the position of Kampala Metropolitan Police.
