Socialite Ali Lwanga alias God’s Plan came to the limelight over three years ago. His claim to fame was his relationship with Sheila Gashumba.
The two painted Kampala with love, splashed money, and held several media interviews professing love for each other.
In August last year, the two parted ways and God's Plan life has never been the same.
He couldn’t maintain the flashy lifestyle he was accustomed to.
In the pursuit to prove his critics wrong, God’s Plan resorted to borrowing and depending on local service providers like barbers, fashion designers to keep up appearances.
After few months, he couldn't pay his hotel bills, moved out to his new girlfriend's place. He promised to pay all the service providers but he hasn't been able to clear all the debts.
He is currently on the run.
A city fashion designer who preferred anonymity supplied new stylish clothes for over six months without pay. Efforts to claim his payments have been futile as God’s Plan cannot be traced from his usual meet-up points or residences.
Despite his known phone number is available, he refuses to answer calls.
