A child should not be forced into their famous parent’s limelight, according to Edwin Katamba aka Mc Kats, who has enjoyed celebrity status for many years.
He prefers to keep his children off the radar.
Children that are exposed to the limelight get a false sense of reality in regard to being spoon-fed everything in life.
He says he wants to keep them safe from this and his enemies that might want to harm them.
"I always keep my children out of the limelight for their good. Not all my followers are my fans. Bad-hearted people might want to hurt me by attacking my children," he said on live television.
The NBS After 5 show host believes his children will find genuine friends outside the industry.
