A few days ago, fast-rising singer Ronald Alimpa allegedly snubbed a show he was booked to perform at yet he was already at the venue in Kasenge, Wakiso District
Alimpa is said to have asked the promoter to add more money on top of what they had agreed because the show had attracted massive crowds. The promoter refused, prompting Alimpa to drive away without performing.
In the light of the above, promoter Bajjo has warned Alimpa against developing an ego when he is still upcoming.
“This musician Alimpa is talented but he might not have a future in the industry because many people have told me he has an inflated ego,” Bajjo said.
He signed to Fresh Cuts Entertainment and his hit single "Seen Don” which has the catchy phrase "Olusuku lwa Cement" went Viral on Tiktok and social media in Uganda.
He celebrated a million views for his trending song in May this year.
It's not common for an upcoming artist to hit a million YouTube views within a month in Uganda.
