On Friday last week, Sheila Gashumba hosted Abryanz Style and Fashion Awards (ASFAs) which took place at Kampala Serena hotel.
Gashumba used the opportunity to ask Ugandan artists to support home stylists and designers. She said they are innovative and creative, they can go big in design if supported.
"Today, I have been dressed by a local designer. She pulled it off. She is the same person who dresses Kataleya and Kandy. We should start supporting local fashion houses, they are doing great things," she said in an interview with local television.
Gashumba's boyfriend, musician Rickman is also styled by her.
