On Tuesday this week, the court ruled in favour of singer Eddy Kenzo to perform in Kampala again.

The ruling was made against a temporary injunction which was set on the 10th of November, 2022 stopping the Big Talent boss from staging performances around the city.

The singer took to social media to celebrate the good news with his fans who have been wondering if they will enjoy his entertainment this festival season.

"Lies are too loud with unnecessary noise but the truth always comes in organized sweet melodies.

Today, the 20th of December the Honorable court of Uganda ruled in our favour against the temporary injunction that was intended to stop me from doing my job.

The matter has been dismissed with costs and I can only tell you my people that we gonna have a good time this festive season," he tweeted.

The ruling was made against promoter Luuba who believes Eddy Kenzo must not perform in Kampala before they settle their differences. Luba accuses Kenzo of over their money differences. Luba accuses Kenzo of organizing the Eddy Kenzo festival without his stake.
