Comical musician, Fresh Daddy, has more jokes regarding his music career than actual music. After releasing a rendition of Philly Bongole Lutaaya’s song, 'Born in Africa', Fresh Daddy has said in an interview that he ranks himself as the best artiste when it comes to reggae.
On whether he got permission to do the song, he said, “I heard the voice of the late crying out loud to me as the reggae king to do justice to the track, which I respected”.
“After seeing Eddy Kenzo spoil the song, I decided to make a proper remake. It is now signed and sealed, no one can jump on the track after I did justice to it,” Fresh Daddy bragged.
Fresh Daddy joined the music industry through his son Fresh Kid whose stardom thrust the family into the spotlight.
