Singer and politician,Bobi Wine, is ecstatic after the United Kingdom lifted a ban imposed on him over a decade ago due to his anti-gay views.
The ban was initially imposed in 2014 based on the lyrics in Bobi Wine's songs that promoted homophobia. However, Bobi Wine's legal team and his dedicated supporters in the UK worked tirelessly to have the ban overturned.
They argued that it was unjust to allow President Museveni to enter the UK while denying entry to the opposition leader who is striving for a free and democratic Uganda.
Consequently, the UK government has finally forgiven Bobi Wine, and he will soon be able to travel to the UK to connect with his fans.
